Correction to CAN/CIOSC 100-1:2020, CAN/CIOSC 100-2:2020, CAN/CIOSC 101:2019 and CAN/CIOSC 103-1:2020

TORONTO, October 8, 2020 – The CIO Strategy Council notifies users having downloaded CAN/CIOSC 100-1:2020, CAN/CIOSC 100-2:2020, CAN/CIOSC 101:2019 and CAN/CIOSC 103-1:2020 of changes made to the conformity assessment provision in the Introduction of the French editions.  The French editions contained an error in the translation from the English editions.   Provision in English editions:  “This Standard is intended for conformity assessment.”  Original provision in French editions:  « La norme doit être utilisée aux fins de l’évaluation de la conformité. »  New provision in French editions:  « La norme est conçue pour être utilisée dans l’évaluation de la conformité. »
